	The annual general meeting of NAS RA covering the outcomes of research and scientific-organizational activities of the Academy for 2017 will be held on 28 March, 2018 at 10 am in the NAS RA meeting hall. The annual general meetings of the divisions of sciences will be held on 27 March at 10 am

	On April 25-27, 2018, the Institute of Molecular Biology NAS RA is organizing a Practical Course “R for bioinformatics - a beginner's guide”. The course objective is to introduce R computing language to students and scientists interested in data analysis and bioinformatics. Course covers basics of R data types, syntax and main/popular biological data analysis packages




	On April 30 - May 1, 2018, the Institute of Molecular Biology NAS RA is organizing a Practical Course "Scientific programming in R". The course objective is to introduce participants with advanced statistical and machine learning techniques and approaches used in analysis of big biological data

	On 25-26 May, 2018, RA NAS Division of Armenology and Social Sciences, Yerevan State University, the Historians Association of Armenia, with the support of the Ministry of Diaspora are arranging an international conference entitled "Republic of Armenia-100" dedicated to the Centennial of the proclamation of independence of the Republic of Armenia and the May Heroic Battles

	The Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST) is pleased to announce the Call for Applications for its "Travel Grant for Collaborative Research" program 2018-2019.
