The President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia Academician Ashot Saghyan on October 31, 2022 met with the Head of the Division of Technical Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Lithuania, Academician, Director of the Institute of Data Science and Digital Technologies, Professor Gintautas Dzemyda. During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of further development of bilateral cooperation.

During his visit Academician Gintautas Dzemyda got acquainted with the scientific activities of the Department of Mathematical and Technical Sciences of NAS RA and the Institute of Problems of Informatics and Automation of NAS RA. He visited also the Yerevan State University.
