Գիտական հանրությունը նշեց հայագետ-արևելագետ Արամ Տեր-Ղևոնդյանի ծննդյան 90-ամյակը

   Սույն թվականի հունիսի 20-21-ին Երևանում անցկացվեց «Արևելյան աղբյուրագիտությունը և պատմագրությունը XXI դարասկզբի Հայաստանում» միջազգային գիտաժողովը՝ նվիրված հայագետ-արևելագետ Արամ Տեր-Ղևոնդյանի (1928-1988) ծննդյան 90-ամյակին: Արամ Տեր-Ղևոնդյանի գիտական ժառանգությունը ներառում է հետազոտություններ՝ նվիրված Բագրատունյաց դարաշրջանի և արաբական խալիֆայության փոխհարաբերություններին, ինչպես նաև հայ-արաբական փոխառնչություններին։ Հայագիտության բնագավառում մեծ է նրա վաստակը Արևելյան աղբյուրագիտության՝ Մերձավոր Արևելքի քրիստոնյա և մահմեդական քաղաքակրթությունների հետազոտման գործում:

   Գիտաժողովի ընթացքում Հայաստանի և արտերկրից՝ ԱՄՆ-ից, Գերմանիայից, Ռուսաստանից, Ֆրանսիայից, Իսրայելից, Հունաստանից և Իտալիայից ժամանած գիտնականները հանդես եկան 34 գիտական զեկուցումներով, որոնք նվիրված էին  XXI դարասկզբի Հայաստանի արևելյան աղբյուրագիտությանը և պատմագրությանը:
   Գիտաժողովը կազմակերպել էին ՀՀ ԳԱԱ արեվելագիտության ինստիտուտը,   «Մատենադարան» Մաշտոցի անվան հին ձեռագրերի ինստիտուտը և Երևանի պետական համալսարանը:
