Vice-president of the National Academy of Sciences of the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic (1971-1974). Director of the Computing Centre (1974-1979). Head of the Department of the Institute of Mathematics of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (1979-1982). Rector of the Kirovakan Pedagogical Institute (1982-1986).

Laureate of the State award of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (1952). Was awarded with the Order of the Red Banner of Labour.
